A WEEK GONE. . STILL HAPPY

So, here we are. . .Friday is here and I feel like I'm getting a cold. I got back from my trip and it's been non-stop go. I got back late Sunday, crashed HARD, and then I've had to work Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs. I think it took its toll on me. Not having any real down time has affected me and now I have a shitty sinus infection.

All that crap aside, the news in all the papers is about Bush v. Kerry, Martha Stewart, and the Todd Bertuzzi hit on Steven Moore that hospitalized the guy with a broken neck.

Let's start with Bush V. Kerry. OVer the past few years, I've steadily become more Republican, and more pro-Bush. Kerry is a joke to me. If I was a Democrat or a Liberal, I couldn't support a guy like him. The guy has flipped flopped on every issue he's ever voted on, he's not tough on terrorism and his mockery of President Bush's service record is laughable. Funny, when he stood up in front of congress talking about how service shouldn't be an issue while Clinton was getting HAZED in his re-election. Now it's all different and suddenly it's important. He just seems to be the convienent canidate. Whenver it's convienent, he votes. He doesn't take a stand on anything, and hardly impresses me at all with any of the issues he's trying to stand on. Bush has my vote - Kerry's an idiot.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Martha, Martha, Martha. What a stupid bitch, She thought she could weasel out of this one. I was laughing when they read all the verdicts. Maybe this will FINALLY send a message to those elite bastards that laws will not bend from them. Do a crime, lie, and manipulate - and go to jail, same as everyone else. all the commentators were all saying that had she come clean right away - MAYBE a slap on the wrist. Now, her empire is crumbling and now she gets to feel the sting of the long arm of the law. Good riddence and don't bend over to pick up the soap!

The hit heard round the world. Todd Bertuzzi sucker punches Steven Moore, knocks him unconcious, then bulldogs him into the ice, breaking his neck. WTF is hockey coming to?? This game was out of control and the refs did nothing to control it. I think more of the responsibility should be put on refs to keep tighter control. Had they dished out some more penalty's, and been harsher, I don't think this would have happened. Personally, I think Bertuzzi should have kicked out of the league and the only time he straps skates on will be for his kids practice. I have ZERO remorse for this guy. You need to keep your emotions in check. Moore fought already once in the game and that should be good enough. So a suspension for the remainder of the season, and a looming lock-out I think still spells the end for his career anyways. I feel sorry for Moore. The guy does the right thing, and still got gooned. Like I said - WTF??
