ARRRRRRRRGGHHHHHHHH!!
Life sucks. Then you write for 20 minutes in your blog, only to have a co-worker close the window and LOOSE your entire entry!!!!
Oh well, this WAS the post, in a condensed version - naturally.
Point 1) Bomb the FUCK out of Fullajah and just kill em' all. I'm so tired of fucking Muslim extremists. I also tired of liberals/dems trying to get their anti-war rhetoric heard.
Point 2) Work is well. Soccer is starting, hockey is still going strong. Still looking for a new job, still gainfully employed in the meantime.
Point 3) Buy THIS album NOW!!! Or just go to THEIR website.
Point 4) Kerry was a bonesmen. Funny how nobody in the Democratic party supported him. Now, it looks like he'll get the nominations.
Point 5) Besides the UN being a joke, the Pro-Choice crazies were out in numbers this past week. Don't get me wrong, I believe in choice, but these women are just plain C R A Z Y. HEY LADIES!!!! If you're so concerned about your rights, why don't you go over to Afghanistan or Saudi Arabia and demonstrate for the women there?!?!?!?
Point 6) Oh yeah, you should listen to THIS radio station in order to find out what you're missing in your feeble liberal existence. Dennis Prager alone should be enough to open your eyes!
More things to think about people. . .
GODSPEED my friends,
LATE
LOTS TO DIFFUSE
So the war is still raging on. Americans continue to get killed and the liberals continue to amuse me with their anti-war rhetoric. "I support the troops, but I don't agree with what they are doing." Nice fucking cope out. Just like people to take a middle of the road stance. Sorry folks, that logic doesn't fly with me. We have too much at stake and right now, all this political correctness has our hands tied.
If we continue to NOT shoot at these bastards because they run into Mosques and hide between women and children - WE ARE DOOMED TO FAILURE. Instead of letting the dogs loose, we are trying to go about eradicating these cowards by nipping and tucking when possible and playing into their hands. I say let's have some B1's go in and just flatten the whole town of Fallujah. Would it be easier to flatten the city, kill all the inurgent bastards and send a nice warning to the rest of the country that we are not to be fucked with. Give the cities women and children 24 hours to clear out. Leave the terrorists behind and then just carpet bomb the city until nothing is left. So what's easier? Battle block by block, loosing valuable American lives. Or just flatten the city and then rebuild it?? You think anybody else would pick up arms if they knew we would drop the hammer?? I Doubt it.
So besides the war, my job search continues. I totally revamped my resume and I think it looks great. So my new catch phrase that has creeped into my vocabulary is, "Well, we'll just wait and see - ok?" I dunno where this came from, but I use it WAY TOO MUCH!!!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh elctronica. the past couple of years I've really been getting into trance music. Strangely enough, I use it to do relaxation exercises. It works so well, I use it for 15 minutes on my lunch,
'Ummmmmmmmmm so what else? I stopped skateboarding for a while. Soccer started up again and I have hockey tonight. I'm debating giving up socer to play more hockey, but haven't totally made up my mind.
If your a fan of music - you NEED to pick up this album
or just check out their website.
I haven't talked with my son for a week and I feel like shit. I saw somw guy walking his son when I was going to work and just about broke down. So all morning I wrote notes in my palm pilot that I need to call him every other day.
That's pretty much all I have to say. Other than the past week was spent on Pat Tillman on radio talk shows here. The guy was a fucking hero - end of story. Ruch Limbaugh was reading posts on some liberal website. I was pretty shocked that people could look at him and what he did and find negativity. They were saying it served him right, that nobody cares, etc, etc. I guess that's why we live here. FREEDOM can be a mindfuck sometimes.
So am I losing touch? Nawwwwwwwwww. Too manyt hings going on. We have a war that despite what people say - we are winning. It's an election year and the Dems and Libs are strugggling to find people to agree with their views and their "canidate". Sometimes I think people disagree with the war just to be cool. Whenever I engage some of these peoiple in a "conversation" they usually end up sputtering and can't seem to find a coherent argument to stand on. then they go on to say that Bush is a doorknob and he's only in the whitehouse because of his Dad.
Really? To that I usually reply - Kerry also went to Yale. did you know that he was a Bonesmen?
Interesting how NOBODY in the Democratic party actually supported Kerry. Then out of nowhere - he gets the nomination??

OUT
A NEW DAY
This week has flown by - thank god. My run as our Dish Network intern has gone smoothly. Now I just sit back and wait for the $$$$ that I was promised. Oh yeah, and now I have a TON of job opportunities. I guess once you really start looking, you can find something. Next week when things are slow, I'm putting all my energy into overdrive on my BAR OPS consulting business. So, as it stands right now - here are my options. . .
Move into a full time job at ERIKS. The compensation package is pretty crazy. Salary, bonuses and I still get to keep my commissions. My gif has issues with me working too late and the hours would'nt allow us to see each other very much. That would seriously kill our relationship - so this offer has given me to pause a bit.
I could go work for my co-worker John. He is currently working part time for an exterior lighting company. He's got a huge deal going, and if it closes, he's going to quit and take me with him. This job seems like it's full of opportunity. A small salary, commission and oh yeah - RESIDUALS!!!!
OR I could go work for one of our installers. He was going to sell his business to my boss. But in his stupidity, my boss tried to low ball him and he walked. He still works for us, but wants to bring me in and get help him in his latest venture. He has like three companies that he's trying to consolidate and wants me to help him manage it until it settles. Then I could get into sales and have some more fun.
LAST but not least, my mom has a client that works for Sprint PCS. She's in the data applications solutions department. Her and my Mom were talking about what she does and my Mom mentioned that I was looking for a new job. She basically told her that I sounded like a great fit and that I should email my resume to her. Kool, very kool.
Okay, so much for that. Here's my latest view on the muslim world. I guess this is funny, I just read that the US is lifting its "ban" on ousted Baathist party members. OH! But wait! Now the Kurds and Shiites are pissed now. It just goes to show that you will never win in the arab world. These people need to put down their differences and move forward. It's like these people hold grudges FOREVER. It's funny that a lot of people who live here are soooooooo concerned why people in the arab world have such distaste for us. Well, it's pretty simple - ENVY. Pure and simple. Here's a short list:
1) We're the only superpower left
2) We're still the biggest economic superpower
3) We are the most acceptiing culture on the FACE of the planet
4) All the people that live in this country have equal rights (even women!)
5) We accept all religions
6) We live in a democratic society (this is far too complex to explain - but you get the idea)
7) FREE SPEECH
So just think of how much better THEIR world would be if they actually put aside their differences and learned how to live together? The arab world could turn the world on its ear. Such a beautiful place, such intelligent, beautiful people. Too bad they can't get their shit together. Or maybe they just live for conflict and war. Hell, their wars have been going for THOUSANDS of years. Think how terrible we would be if we raised generations of our kids in the same vein. Hatred, religious and cultural extermination is totally beyond me. Which begs my point from another post months back. We live the greatest country. We are the most accepting culture and we give everybody the opportunity of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Freedom. But these people see only religion, only culture - nothing else. Take cultural ethnocentrism and elevate it exponentially - and then you can BEGIN to understand the mind set of these people.
and with that I will close with this. You want to know what a patriot is? This is the picture of a true patriot:
This is Pat Tillman. He used to play in the NFL for the Arizona Cardinals. He gave up a $3.6 MILLION dollar contract to become an Army Ranger. He was sent to Afghanistan to serve his country. He was killed in combat this week. He served his country with honor and heard the call of duty. He gave up the glitz and millions of the NFL to defend the country he loves against coward terrorists. This man paid the ultimate price for me and for that - he has my utmost respect. My prayers go out to his family and friends.
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TODAY TO HELP YOUR COUNTRY??
THINK before you wave your anti-war banner. THINK about the people who defend the very freedom you sleep under at night. THINK about the servicemen and women who give their lives everyday for YOU.
THEN tell me that what we are doing in IRAQ is wrong.
PAT TILLMAN is a true superstar. May the gates of Valhalla open for you, and may you sleep with the heros tonight.
LATE
To all my liberal friends:
FUCK OFF!!
John Kerry has done it now. He said he would release ALL of his service records. Oops! Now the campaign is scrambling to get them released. As Kerry urged, Bush not only released his service records, but also his tax returns. So why is that Kerry's tax returns are off limits?? Hmmmmmmmm, whatever. .
So Bob Woodward got his reputation dereailed. His assertion that Colin Powell was unaware of the impending war was puyt to rest by Powell himself earlier this week. Oh yeah, and his interviews have directly contradicted his own book. Ok, Bob what are you trying to tell us??
Oh well - enough political pandering. The Democrats are clearly in a state of chaos. They can't seem to get ANYTHING straight. Oh well - keep doing what you're doing - BECAUSE ITS WORKING!!!! I just laugh every day at all this new stuff that keeps coming out. The harder they try to attack Bush and the Republicans, they just make bigger asses out of themselves as they do so.
Okay, so its been a while. Cody was in town this week, which was great. Easter was marvelous and I was very sad to see him go home to Savannah. My job at ERIKS is ramping up again. I'll be working all week and weekend. Although I do have Friday off for hockey - WOOT WOOT
Ummmmmmmm, my temporary title of running our Dish Network operation here is going smoother. I guess repetition breeds familiarity.
Sorry to be so short, just a lot going on and not enough time to sit down and let this stuff flow.
I have a long rambling diatribe about the continuing war in IRAQ - but will save that for tomorrow. As much as I fucking hate the Muslims and their views - somehow I'm starting to see them as the evil that must be present in our world. It balances out the good guys getting too overzealous.
Oh well - just had a short entry for today. . . .
More laters brah!!!
STUMPED. . . AGAIN.
Another crazy week in the news. Condoleezza Rice got grilled for several hours about the possibilities that 9/11 could have been stopped and why the Bush Administration is to blame. The most telling quote was when she said that the US was not war with these terrorist - although they themselves to be at war with us. Oh yeah, Clinton was in office for two terms (that's 8 years for those of you at home) and Tricky Dicky Clarke was the anti-terror chief. So where is the blame on that administration? Bush is the only president to actually stand up and DECLARE war on them. Somehow I just think Kerry has the balls to hang in and make sure we finish the job in Iraq.
Second point - I heard Senator McCain talking and clarifying the current situation in Iraq. The small pockets of resistence are from loyal Saddam followers that are no longer in power, and this uprising is a power grab because they will not be apart of the new Iraq. The majority of Iraqis are still tasting freedom and I can't wait to see the entire de-stabilization of the middle east when the country is turned back over to the Iraqis. Freedom, ain't it great??
This morning I heard a release by the Japanese government talking about how they will not withdraw, even though three Japanese citizens have been kidnapped by some militants. This is the total stupidity of these terrorists argument: According to Japanese television, the militants issued a statement asserting that because of Japan's support for U.S. action, "Japanese deserve to suffer as Iraqis have." What a bunch of idiots. Ummmm ok, the Japanese deserve to suffer as the Iraqi's have?? What the FUCK does that mean?? Suffer more than the Iraqi's did under Saddam? I just don't get these people - I really don't.
So aside from my political meanderings - more bettah news!! Manchester United bumped their arch rivals Arsenal out of the FA Cup. I was happy to see, that after their exit from the FA Cup (their hopes of a treble crushed!), they abruptly exited the Champions league when they went down in flames against Chelsea. My best friend (and ardent arsenal supporter) Demo stated, "Fuck off, I don't want to talk about it." when pressed later, he said, "I was pretty excited to see the Gunners capture the treble. Now? I don't know if they will come away with ANY hardware." Thanks mate, just what I need to hear!
Much still going on. Summer soccer is on the horizon, Roller Hockey is a possibility and I found another night to play hockey with my friend Paul.
My son came into town this afternoon and is at his other grandmas. We will be hooking up tomorrow after I'm done working at ERIKS. I can't wait to see him. It's been almost 3 months. Far too long I think!
It's Friday - I'm outta here in a few hours. More on Monday.
LATE!
WTF Tuesday??
I just dont get it sometimes. I saw an article about Rwanda and the genocide that took place in 1994. Some UN General had returned to mark some memorial for those that had died. Canadian General Romeo Dallaire was up in arms and claimed the west (thats us, for you at home) is "criminally responsible" for what happened.
Incidentally, the general was labeled as, ". . . the commander of the beleaguered U.N. peacekeeping force at the time. . . "the thing that jumped right out at me, was the fact that all these anti-war people talk about how great the UN is. So why the fuck didn't the UN do more? Why is it that WE (the US) are always responsible for stepping in and solving other countries problems?? Why can't these people stand up and do something for themselves once in a while??
Easy. The WORLD needs us to lead them, then when we step in (say like in Iraq), and help - they get pissed. It's a no win situation. If we sit by and let people try and figure out their own problems, suddenly it's our fault when people die. When we do step in, we get leveled because we DIDNT go through the UN, we get demostrations, and suddenly we are the evil empire. What the fuck is wrong with people?? I just dont get people and their motivations. I should have remembered what Bullet Tooth Tony says in a situation like this: "Never, underestimate, the predictibility of stupidity."
So now that I got that off of my chest - I feel much better.
So whats new? My life is a mess, this summer is awash and work is shit. Hmmmmmmmmm that about covers it - but let me give you more insight.
I've been searching for a new job for some time now. I had a great interview with Foris errrrrrrr Assurian Health Insurance. I got the job, no problem. The pay is good, but I'm not so sure I'm ready to go sit in a call center 7 hours a day. I had another job possibility but am convinced the guy running the company is a knob. He called yesterday, leaves me a message about how the owner wants to meet with me and he'll be in town in a few weeks to talk about a job opening he has. I call him today and tell him I didn't get the email and he starts in about offering me and my company (which doesn't exist) a great "opportunity". I told him he had the wrong guy. He apologized, and quickly got off the phone. So THAT got pretty much shot down for me.
UPDATE
Today, my boss came to me talking about how Nextel has this "Nextel in a box" program and how he is going to set up a retail place in Eden Prairie. Oh yeah, our PAY isn't going up. But if we get a ton of people in, our COMMISSIONS will go up. Fuck that, I'm still looking for a job. I think he knows he needs to do something otherwise he's going to loose the rest of his staff.
Oh well. . . my son comes this weekend. . .life isn't so bad after all.
LATE
TOO MUCH NEWS TO DIGEST
Audrey Seiler was found alive yesterday - the missing co-ed from Madison. Still, many questions linger, and many unusual things are starting to happen.
First of all, the cops haven't put out a composite sketch of her assilant. The fact that she was "abducted" after another incident a year ago (she was knocked unconcious and moved one block, but she wasn't robbed and nothing was taken), she was acting VERY careless, leaving her apartment door wide open. Strange, very strange, A LOT of people are thinking this may be a total setup. I'm listening to KFAN 1130AM and they are talking with some reporter that's in Madison and rumors have started that this may be a hoax or never happened. Not a good way to wrap up a very disturbing, scary occurance.
Hmmmmm, I was listening to Dennis Prager today and heard some History professor that was quoted as saying that Iraq is no better off than when Saddam was in power. Dennis basically called him out and asked him where his evidence was to support his argument. He basically said that it was his "inference". This guy is an academic professor, and all he can come up with inferences?? Brutal, just brutal. And this is the guy that is teaching the next generation of kids??
Ok, some better arguments for those if you who hate all the stupid, pasty anti-war people that continue to voice their opinons (which I fully support) about how we are losing the war and need to get out of Iraq, just like we lost in Vietnam. Oh children, calm down now. Comparing Vietnam and Iraq is like comparing apples to oranges. They are TOTALLY different and just shows how far these people have sunk. So here's some points to bring up to these anti-war, liberal freaks.
ITS A WAR FOR OIL, THAT'S WHY WE INVADED IRAQ
Really? So why the fuck am I still paying $2.00 for a gallon of gas. If it was a war for oil, then you would expect during our occupation that we would pump up oil production and make sure that gas prices would drop. too bad that hasn't happen.
OK - ITS NOT ABOUT OIL, ITS ABOUT BIG BUSINESS AND BUSH'S BUDDIES AT HALLEBURTON GETTING RICHER.
Yeah, that would be perfect, instead of actually creating jobs for the countries that actually had the balls to stand with us, let's outsource the work to foriegn nations like say. . . . France and Germany. Yeah, those bastards were quick to run and hide and protest us liberating Iraq, but when it's all over, suddenly they come around looking for a handout. Fucking cowards, rot in hell you stupid ass euro's! Whoops, but isn't that one of Kerry's "big" issues? That we shouldn't outsource jobs to India and Mexico?? You all seem a little stuck on that one.
Those two alone usually shut them up. I'll have more later. One enduring image of John Kerry is having one of his Vietnam "brothers" on one side saying how we saved him from drowning in Nam, and Ted Kennedy on his other side. You can't make this stuff up - I swear.
Oh yeah - and who could forget Al Franken? I liked him when he was at SNL. Since then, he's turned into quite a liberal dope. So somebody figured the liberals were getting run pretty bad on the radio and felt they needed a voice. So they launched the Air America radio network. Al Franken has his own show. I have yet to hear the show - but can guess their modus operandi. Bash Bush, stay away from topics you know you can't win. Say like the economy, the war in Iraq, the war on terror, etc, etc.
I heard the funniest joke today. There was a guy that was sitting in for Rush today (can't remember his name), and said that Kerry had to get some surgery on his arm because they found out it swings too much forward and backwards. What a classic line.
I can't wait for Bush to absolutely dismnatle Kerry in the first debate. I think once Bush takes a big chunk of his ego, it will only be a matter of time ladies and gentlemen.
So as much as I love my job at ERIKS, I've come to find out that I seem the only one willing to sacrafice for other people. I need to have a Sunday off so I can spend the last day with my son before he goes back to Georgia for two months. NOBODY wants to step up to the plate and help me out. I've worked for others when they needed time off for less. Now I need a day off and nobody wants to help. Needless to say, I've put out the word not to ask me to cover anymore of their shifts. Selfish bastards!
oh well - phones sell, people to help.
My time is up - for now.. . . . .
LATE
