A LONG WEEKED

What my weekend lacked in orginality, it made up for in humor.

Let's see, Saturday I worked all day till 9ish, came home and then went over to a friends place. We were going to go whoop it up downtown, but the weather did not co-operate and the driving winds and torential rains stopped us from getting serious. So we basically watched TV until I thought I was going to fall asleep. I headed home around 10:30 or so.

The thing that sucked on Saturday is that my gif was supposed to go out with her best friend. She had been telling me all week that they were going out to have some beers. Saturday night comes and I get home. My gif is looking rejected on the couch. She tells me her friend called and cancelled. I felt kinda uneasy, because I made plans based on her plans. Now her plans fell through and I almost felt like calling my freind and telling him that I wouldn't be coming over. Oh well, I kissed her on the forehead and went anyways.

Saturday was a long fucking day. I worked all day for the bike man and it was gruelling. I had to grind out 1K in sales. Much to the chagrin of my mechanics, I seemed to have started some kind of inside joke. It was soooooo fricking busy that bikes were taking 45 min to get ready. So I told the guys they should start doing the "Fonzi" OTD (out the door). That's where you look at the bike and just say, "Aaaaaaaaaaayyyyy." and tell the customer thier bike is ready. It must havce caught on. All day long it was the running joke in the shop - too funny.

Sunday came and I got lucky on a few bikes. It turned into a 4K+ day for myself. Top sales of the day, followed by a 3 and half hour clininc on Triathalon bikes. The clinic made it a VERY long day.

So that was the weekend. I got lucky on Saturday to hear George Nooray on coast to coast AM . He had David Bannon on. Now, most people have not heard of the guy, but he wrote an amazing book that tells of his job as an Interpol "cleaner". I'm ordering the book today from Amazon. From all the reviews I've read, I'm anxious to read it.

So what else happened? My Gophers Hockey team took the gaspipe and got elimiated by fricking UMD!? Oh well, I didn't even think they would get that far. Ummmmmmmmm Manchester TIED Arsenal at Highbury. The REd Devils are in shambles right now, and I would just as soon get this season over and forget about it.

Can't think of much more, other than I love working at ERIKS. I made a transition to SLP this summer and it has made all the difference. My manager can see the change and the VP of Sales is happy to have me kicking ass again. The SLP crew laugh and joke all day long so it makes the day go quicker and makes work fun. This summer will be great, and for the first time in many. many years, I look forward, not back. Guess I gotta find some shades, huh?

That's all I got for now brah. . .

Too much on my mind to get all down in one post, so like U2 once said,

"Another time, antoher place."

RACK ME! I'M OUT!
